Delighted to be able to at last share the announcement that Shape Island, the Apple TV+ series for which I served as production designer at Bix Pix Entertainment will become available on January 20th. From start to finish this project was an absolute pleasure to have been a part of. Sure, we had our challenges and rough patches (like anything worth doing), but thanks to the amazing team headed by Drew Hodges, one of the hardest working and most dedicated directors with whom I have ever worked, I had an unqualified blast working on this show.

Thanks to our wonderful Concept Artists; Natasha Tan and Yang Hu, Set Designer; Alex Friedman, and Art Directors; Jeff White and Tony Candelaria and their talented teams, we were able to create something I believe to be quite unlike anything else out there. Managing our Art Department was my dear friend, Maria Andreotti, who kept the ship on a steady course through good weather and bad. The cherry on the cake was the opportunity to work once more with my old friends and conspirators, Eric Adkins as DP and Jen Prokopowicz as Animation Director.

Though marketed as a children’s show, the writing for the series is really very sharp and I think will appeal to adults every bit as much as kids.
